Profession: Secret member of the Council. He carries out operations to "take care" of potential threats. He has no problem torturing his victims, in any way, shape, or form, and considers them "toys".

Personality: Thatcher is, without a doubt, a psychopath. He gets his kicks out of physically, emotionally, and mentally torturing others - usually all three at once. He holds a very gentlemanly air around him, and always comes off as a cheerful guy, but it's all a front to make people comfortable around him so he can easily strike. There are very few people that he deems worthy of his respect; everyone else is just a toy for him to play with until they break, meaning he either makes them snap and go insane from his torture, or they simply die from his "games". When he finds someone he favors, he becomes horribly obsessed with them, and is completely ruthless. If he's bored with you, and you're lucky, he'll just disappear from your life and leave you be; if you're not lucky, like most people, he'll kill you. God help the soul that he sets his eyes on; he's even crucified a vampire in the not-so-distant past. Thatcher, however, refuses to mess with kids. If he sees a child in danger, he completely loses it and will do whatever he has to, to protect them. When asked about his reasons, though, he's shut up tighter than a clam.

Likes: One of Thatcher's main hobbies is to discuss various torture methods with his two pets, which he created from the fear and insanity of his current favorite toy. His favorite thing to do is mentally tormenting people to drive them to the brink of insanity. He also greatly enjoys the company of reptiles, primarily snakes. There's always at least a few of them slithering around him at all times. There are some secret hobbies he has, though, such as painting. These paintings are usually hidden, however, and the only ones he likes are hung up around his home, but he never lets people know that he's the one that made them. More than likely they would just disturb people; they usually depict his favorite moments of past torturings. Thatcher also enjoys peace and quiet; he's none too fond of loud people or places, preferring somewhere more solitary; he never really goes into town unless it's required, and in his downtime he can be seen enjoying a seat by the fireplace.

Dislikes: Because of his twisted optimism, there aren't many things that dampen Thatcher's mood, however, those few things will cause his mood to flip dramatically like a light switch. Thatcher absolutely loathes the cold, and snowy days especially will send him on a rampage. He cannot go out in the cold, and since being cooped up pisses him off, it's best not to mess with him on these types of days. Because of past events, Thatcher dislikes seeing children upset or hurt, and will come to their aid. Lastly, he hates dull people; he loves to have twisted philosophical discussions, and that's impossible with people infected by stupidity.

Strengths/Powers: Thatcher is determined to become the most powerful vampire in existence, and therefore he's developed many resistances and powers over the years. Unlike most vampires, he's completely immune to silver. In fact, he usually wears several silver rings around each finger - except his left ring finger - so he can do some real damage to other vampires if he punches them. When he bites, he can inject a poison that acts like quicksilver, which temporarily merges into the bloodstream and burns the vampire from the inside out, and slows their healing down to around the same speed as a human's. Normally the poison won't kill, just hurt like hell and make you an easier target. Thatcher is almost never seen without his cane, which has a sapphire orb on top with a dragon curled around it; it's carved wood and is tipped silver at the end, doubling as a stake. He is able to store tiny amounts of his power in the staff, allowing whoever wields it access to whatever powers he allows at the time, though it drains quickly.

Thatcher is able to take on the form of a massive cobra nearly the size of a dragon. He can also split into a mass of normal-sized cobras. Thatcher has the ability to spawn the slithering serpents by vomiting them up. Literally. Wherever these snakes are at, he has the ability to travel through their shadows, as if he were walking through a door.

Thatcher also has the ability to mimic anyone's voice he's ever heard without flaw.

Lastly, his most useful power is the ability to create whatever he wants from people's emotions, if both the person and these emotions are strong enough. What those emotions create, however, ultimately depend on the emotion being used. For example, when fear was used, the creature created could turn into anyone's worst nightmare. When insanity was used, the creature came out as unstable and jumpy. So, basically, when someone has an intense emotion - whether it's hope, fear, insanity, it doesn't matter - he can use it as an energy source for various purposes. This power still isn't really all that refined, however, so he tends to not use it too often. It's almost got him killed in the past, actually.

Weaknesses: Thatcher simply cannot function in cold temperatures. He grows weak and sick starting in temperatures 75 degrees and the lower it gets, the weaker he becomes. If he touches anything freezing, such as snow or ice, it burns him like fire.

He also has irrational fear of thunderstorms. They send him into a state of panic and distress, and he usually becomes immobile with fear. This is mostly from Greyson, however the panic is so strong it affects Thatcher as well. He typically likes to stay inside during thunderstorms for that reason - he doesn't want anyone to know about this fear.

As cold-hearted as Thatcher is, he's come to absolutely adore his two creations, Des and Borderline, which were born from his powers to create things from emotions. Many would consider this a weakness because he has such a large soft spot for them - he even lovingly refers to them as his children.

Thatcher's ability to split into a mass of cobras can only be used when he's already in his large cobra form. Although that ability is convenient for escaping, he avoids using it as much as possible - when he merges back whole, he gets an excruciating migraine, and for every one of the cobras he splits into that's killed, it's a wound on his body.

Thatcher's other weaknesses are currently unknown.

- Thatcher is a personality disorder case; he and Greyson are two halves of the same mind. Thatcher is the dominant side, and Greyson only comes out when children are involved or someone's upset, because his fatherly instincts are kicking in. It's his kind, loving side, and how he used to be when he was human before a traumatic incident caused him to lose his mind.

- Thatcher rarely calls people by their real names. He comes up with nicknames, and they usually have some reason to them, even if they don't make sense to the person. Sometimes they're as simple as "Sunshine" or "Dear", and other times they're more significant, such as "Little Bat" for a blind person. If Thatcher calls you by your real name, you know he's being deadly serious, so you better heed whatever it is he has to say.
