Personality: At first glance Octavian is a very intimidating man. He possesses a 'no nonsense' attitude and takes his job very seriously. Octavian doesn’t tolerate stupidity and makes it clear that he doesn't appreciate practical jokes in the workplace. Octavian can also be rather blunt at times, preferring to say things they way they are instead of sugar coating them. Octavian also values honesty and the truth even if sometimes they sting. On a different note, he isn't the kind of man you want to get into verbal (or physical) altercation with. Octavian is a very intelligent and strategic young man and if given the opportunity he doesn't hesitate in tearing someone up in a debate. Despite his seemingly off-putting attitude he actually isn't such a bad guy once you get to know him. Octavian does have a kind soul but incidents in his past have caused him to put up barriers to protect himself. While he may be a little distrusting once you've managed to gain his trust he proves himself to be a very selfless and loyal friend. Around his loved ones Octavian has a wonderful sense of humor! Instead of being stern and strict with them he's been known to relax and join in their shenanigans from time to time. He does have a tendency to worry about his loved ones to the point where it's nearly excessive. All he really wants is for them to be happy and safe after all! Octavian is also a rather calm man with a level head, despite the fact he has a hard time accepting help from others. This can lead him to being a bit stubborn at times but it's all because he doesn't want to be a burden to others. With this being said, Octavian also doesn't know how to react when people go out of their way for him.
Likes: Octavian really enjoys being able to play his piano and does so when he is feeling stressed or hopeless. He's always had an ear for the instrument and tends to play fast paced music and prefers to play differently than most people of his era. Octavian enjoys music in general though he rarely gets time to enjoy it. On a different topic Octavian doesn't mind his job however stressful it may be and loves to plan things through, he likes forming strategies and running them through different scenarios to see the flaws and benefits. Besides thing associated with his job Octavian does enjoy sparing but due to his height he often finds it a challenge seeing as though most people are smaller than he is; don't get him wrong, he enjoys the challenge it provides but enjoys when he can horse around with someone around his height. Known to few Octavian is quite the chef even though he is a vampire. Preparing a human meal is something he takes great confidence and pride in considering it is one of the few talents of his that he likes to flaunt. Baking is a side hobby though that's a whole other science that he doesn't associate himself with too much. Octavian is crazy for winter and loves deep snowfall and he believes that you are never too old to have a good snowball fight. Being raised in snow capped mountains the cold his something he has developed and immunity to and he can move fluently in large snowfall, he's quite the force to be messed with when in his element. Octavian is more of large dog kind of guy those he doesn't hate cats at all, on a different note he tends to lean towards neutral colors than anything outlandish.
Dislikes: Octavian does not work well in any temperature above 75 degrees and detests summer with a burning passion. Like the typical vampire he cannot stand silver and the burns hurt him like someone holding a match too close to your skin. As well as detesting silver Octavian cannot cross running water for unknown reasons and knots drive him crazy. Though he does have an immunity to sunlight, the sun takes away his shape shifting ability as well as his ability to walk on ceilings. In addition to this the sun also darkens his mood in which he can easily become snappy and irritable. As well as detesting the sun Octavian also does not like anything made out of Oak or Ash as when these trees are made into stakes they are the only kind that can truly kill him. On another side of the coin Octavian has a high fear of another vampire who crucified him who has nearly driven him to insanity. This said individual is one who he truly fears and this vampire has caused Octavian's natural paranoia to skyrocket. Octavian also does not enjoy the ignorance or stupidity of others and does not tolerate it for very long. Octavian cannot stand pastel shades at all and his least favorite color is yellow or pastel pink.
Strengths/Powers: With his bloodline Octavian is able to walk completely up a wall and is able to stand on ceilings without falling, the catch is if his concentration breaks even for a moment, he'll fall. Octavian is also able to take the veil of a large, silver lion for prolonged periods of time and it is a form he has much experience using. Eventually with enough training he will be able to travel via darkness and even manipulate the shadows, but for now he's happy with combat skills and ceiling walking. Being a vampire he has your typical immortality, heightened hearing and strength, and quicker speed.
Weaknesses: Octavian is extremely sensitive to silver and like most vampires it tends to burn him pretty bad and if kept long enough in place it will burn. Besides silver Octavian cannot stand tied knots and he will do anything to to untie them; this includes stopping whatever he was previously doing if it means to untie those blasted things! As well as tied knots Octavian has a fear of fire and with his fear of fire he does not enjoy running water all too much even though he is not scared of it. Octavian also cannot enter a home unless he is invited but once invited he is free to come and go as he pleases. On a different note stakes do not kill him, they only send him to a comatose like state. Only stakes of Ash or Oak are capable of truly killing him, though if he gets blood on his ashes he'll spring right back up, blood starved, but alive.
