Personality: Andrew is a kind-hearted individual, and is rather nervous whenever he meets new people. When he comes to know someone well enough, and is comfortable around them, he can be extremely energetic and bubbly. He's very accepting of others and, quite honestly, is a little too trusting as well. This is surprising given that his trust was betrayed in a devastating way when he was human - however, in place of his trust in others never dwindling, it has made him ridiculously sensitive, so he cries very easily. Whenever his trust is broken, he tends to withdraw for quite some time, but he's learned to cope by now.
Because he's sensitive and easily frightened, Andrew loathes confrontation. However, if those he cares for are being threatened, Andrew will push that fear aside and put on his best brave face to stand up for them. Unfortunately he's physically weak and has no control over his powers, so it usually ends up very poorly for him. This is why he isn't involved in most of the missions he helps plan, unless it involves stealth and/or integrating with the enemy - he can blend in surprisingly well given how personable he is.
He's a very curious individual who loves to ask questions. Andrew loves to have fun and hang out with his friends, and genuinely all he wants is for everyone to be happy. He always thinks things through and it's rare to see his emotions take complete control over him, though they may often influence his thinking. Andrew also loves to help people; he'll go out of his way if he sees someone in need.
Likes: Andrew's favorite thing in the world is tea. He loves making and drinking all types of tea, and finds it a great stress relief. Andrew can almost always be seen with a steaming cup in his hand.
He also really loves anything strategy based, so games like chess appeal to him. Although it may not seem like it, he can give you a run for your money if you challenge him to a strategic game! A lot of people underestimate his intelligence, but Andrew uses that to his advantage.
Cooking has never been one of his strong suits, so he rarely gets to eat a home cooked meal; even if he is a vampire, Andrew still loves human food, and is ecstatic when he gets to try someone's cooking.
Andrew prefers warmth over cold, so in the winter he'll often be sitting by the fire. If he does go outside during the cold season, he wears so many layers he'll practically get lost under his clothing.
He loves to take naps, and adores cats as well.
Dislikes: Andrew has a hard time functioning in cold temperatures. Any time it hits 70 or below he refuses to go outside without tons of layers on, and even then he'll often be caught complaining about the weather.
Unlike most vampires, Andrew is not allergic to silver. He has no idea why this is, however, in place of that he's deathly allergic to gold. If he's exposed to too much of it or for too long, he's often needs to rest in bed for at least a day to recover, especially if some had touched him.
The sun burns Andrew very easily, so he avoids going out during the day at all costs. He usually has his windows covered to avoid sunlight so much as entering his room.
One of Andrew's biggest fears is betrayal. He nearly died when he was human because the person he loved stabbed him in the back - literally. He still does his best to find the good in everyone, though, which leads him to still be a little too trusting in others.
On a lighter note, Andrew isn't a huge fan of coffee, but he'll drink it out of politeness if he's offered some. He also learned how to make all kinds of coffee to make for his friends that aren't fans of tea.
Strengths/Powers: After nearly dying before his transformation, Andrew gained some ghost-like powers. He can float in the air and become ethereal, though the problem is he has no control over these powers, and they often only activate when he's extremely frightened.
Andrew is able to take the form of a deer, and is unable to speak in this form.
His most useful strength is his prowess in stealth and strategic thinking. Andrew isn't the strongest vampire out there, but he can often obtain victory by catching his opponents off guard, and he strikes quickly.
Weaknesses: Andrew is highly allergic to gold, and cannot be exposed to large amounts of it for too long. He's extremely weak to the sun too, and burns him horribly - if he got stuck outside during the day, he'd be unable to move after too long, and most likely die before nightfall.
Since he isn't very strong, if Andrew doesn't have the element of surprise he's often at an extreme disadvantage in a fight.
Andrew has no control over his ghost-like powers, though they very rarely activate; sadly when they do he struggles to get them back under control. The amount of time he's stuck in this state can range from just a few minutes to a few hours.
Since Andrew was transformed while on the brink of death, he's much more feeble than other vampires. He can be killed surprisingly easily for a vampire; nearly as easily as a human can, and he cannot be revived.
