Personality: At first glance Asim comes off has a vicious, hateful being. Radiating feelings of distrust and rage he tends to keep others from getting close to him which is how he'd prefer things to be. He's the type of being to only trust himself because he's learned the hard way that even your shadow abandons you when darkness sets in. Being told he possesses a switchblade for a tongue he doesn't fail to disappoint, his words seem to drip with venom out of habit and with a snarky attitude he is quite the man to get into a argument with. He is known for his harsh words and strong fists and is clearly more than capable of holding his own in fights. His judgmental attitude also has gotten him into more than one debate. Despite his attitude Asim clearly possesses quick wits. His ability to think on his feet has gotten him out of many unsavory situations. Paired with his wits he has also mastered the art of deception and is able to change his 'spots' so to speak as to become more than appealing to someone, however, this change in attitude and aura only happens when he is making a deal with a mortal. On a different note Asim is quite crafty, often able to find more than one way out of a situation. Although he rarely isn't in the mood for a fight, when Asim doesn't feel like dealing with others he simply talks his way out of dealing with people. Unknown to anyone but himself his hateful attitude is actually just a shield; he's much more vulnerable than he appears. Having been reincarnated he is still plagued by the memories of his past life and the people, places, and voices drive him to the break of madness at times. He's terribly desperate to find out who he was and harbors a large amount of regret for what he's done. Although hardly anyone has managed to gain his trust, once you have you can expect to have a rather powerful ally on your side. When around someone he trusts his behavior changes drastically; instead of being the spiteful, revengeful, and rather arrogant man most people know he turns into someone who is compassionate, willing to listen to their woes and provide a shoulder to cry on. He truly values those that believe in him and would do anything to protect him. Since he hasn't fully been corrupted by his superior's influence he still has a 'human' side.

Likes: Given his personality there are few things that Asim's impatient nature can tolerate. One of the most obvious things is his love of fighting because it gives him an outlet to vent out all of his frustrations he feels towards the world and his situation. Fighting is his escape and it is something he is able to lose himself in without feeling remorse. Given his fiery tongue he has also gotten quite good about arguing over the years and loves it when he is able to win on, whether it be by outsmarting his opponent or by manipulating them and making them angry enough to try and throw a punch. When he's not making people angry to the point where they are foaming at the mouth he tends to enjoy making deals with them, sometimes they end up well for the individual or sometimes they can go terribly wrong. The outcome depends on his mood as well the individual’s reasons for making a deal with a Prince of Hell. As in his past life Asim adores heights and much like his old self he prefers perching on top of steeples and just for laughs and giggles he sometimes climbs his way up to the top of a church- which is quite painful but he secretly enjoys the challenge-. Besides his love for scaling buildings he also secretly enjoys singing- only those close to him have heard his voice. Singing allows him to connect with the shred of his humanity that he has left and it reminds him of happier times, the times before he became engulfed in darkness. Music also triggers this feeling and music is what is known to quickly soothe his temper. Being what he is, Asim enjoys skulking around in the shadows and watching the lives of humans pass by. When his temper flares there is nothing more that he enjoys than watching the source of his rage burn in flames; he's not opposed to killing at all. In fact whenever he is in the human realm he takes on assassination contracts, much like his old life. He is still very skilled at what he does even though now he uses more interesting methods to kill those with a price on their head. On a different note, he has always been a fan of warmer weather and secretly misses the feeling of sunlight on his skin.

Dislikes: Asim absolutely cannot stand cold weather, he starts to lose strength in temperatures of 60 degrees and even more strength is sapped the further the temperature drops. He absolutely detests snow and hates the rain as he prefers dry weather. He doesn't get along with nosy people and believes that if people minded their own business they wouldn't end up in desperate situations. Asim also cannot stand being confined because it makes him restless and it makes him feel trapped. He's not much on religion and understands the sick irony of his current situation versus his beliefs. Given his ungodly fear of water he dreads even the sound of it; having nearly drowned twice in his past life and once in his current life water tends to have a negative connotation to the demon; often it is capable of warding him off. He also hates the very thought of sleep because when he sleeps he is plagued by fragments of his human memories-even though he won't ever forget them- and he can't stand not knowing what did before he transformed in to the "monster" he currently is. With that being said he also doesn't like the sun because it tends to blind him.

Strengths/Powers: Given his position Asim has acquired many supernatural abilities in addition to those he held as human. Besides his uncanny luck Asim is capable of scaling buildings with ease, just like he was able to as a human. He is quite talented with many forms of weapons but he excels in throwing knives, swords, and hand to hand combat, his superhuman strength obviously giving him quite the advantage in a fist fight. He has deadly accuracy with poison darts and throwing knives and takes pride in his one hit one kill reputation. Asim easily manipulates fire and has been known to leave quite the impression while he is using it. Being a powerful demon he is capable of breathing it out of his mouth in which his throat normally glows blue underneath his skin before he strikes. He is extremely persuasive and just seems to know what someone wants and the limits that they will go to get whatever it may be; this helps him while making his deals in the mortal realm. When he is made angry enough Asim can completely cover himself in a raging blue fire, providing an incredibly effective display of intimidation. It also has been recorded that he is able to change his form and the one most often used is a large, mighty white dragon, however, since this form requires a lot of his strength he tends to avoid using it unless he absolutely has to. After he uses this form it takes him a while to recover due to the sheer amount of lost energy.

Weaknesses: Asim's most crippling weakness is his inability to swim and his phobia of water. Even hearing water sends him into a state of unease and anxiety. The cold also hinders him by making him feel lethargic by sapping his energy. In cold temperatures he loses his will to fight which on the flip side makes it a rather easy way to calm him down. Another notable weakness is his inability to cross a line of salt without feeling pain. Mentally speaking Asim cannot stand the circumstances of his 'fall' being brought up and if prodded enough about it he becomes withdrawn and sulky instead of berserk like most would think.
