Yearn stretched out her back, curling her tail in an upwards direction. She yawned, her white, sharpened teeth glinted. It was dark-nighttime. The vast amount of starlight emitted from the bright specks in the sky lit up the blackened night, bringing a warm feeling to Yearn's heart. Her aura grew stonger, glowing a darker shade of purple. Giggling, she rubbed her head lovingly against the dew-covered grass.
She loved night; most were asleep and were unable to enjoy the subtle beauty that the moonlit atmosphere brought to the busy day world. Yearn however never slept, not one wink of rest her entire life. Members of the Tribe never slept.
The Tribe was a genetically enhanced race of beings, with dragon-like appearances. Different dragons of the tribe excelled in different things; while one had immense strength, the other's cleverness and stealth may have been unearthly.
Yearn had not yet received her "power". Ones of the Tribe generally received it at the Coming of Age, in which she would be getting soon. Worry crawled her pelt at the very thought of it. Though it was exciting that she would receive her skill, the Coming of Age was a dangerous set of tasks that was sometimes...deadly.
But she would survive it.

Eyes: A light shade of lavender; the same color as her aura.
Markings: Head is a bright shade of green, along with left foot and end of tail. The tips of her ears are blue and the inner color of her feathery tail is blue as well.

History: A very young dragon for her kind. She's almost old enough to participate in the Coming of Age, a dangerous series of tasks that proves said dragon worthy of reaching woman/manhood. Many often perish from participating in such tasks. After receiving the Coming of Age, the dragon receives his/her Power, and gets to choose their forever-mate. Yearn is positively head-over-heels for a strong indepent male, Maple, and does whatever possible to try and impress him.
Personality: Yearn is very outgoing and animated. She's almost always bright and cheerful; the life of the party, so to speak. However, she is clumsy and indescisive at times, too confused to make a clear descision.
