Liar says Daniel turned back at Venice and smiled. He had succeeded in convincing him to remove his curse. The problem was that even though he did remember most of the curse, the incidents that happened before it and following it, 500 years had taken a toll on his memory of the incident. "I'm not sure if I remember all of what he said. I do remember most of it though." he said "It's difficult to remember the exact incident after five hundred years." He sat down on a student's desk and sighed. He was very close to having his curse removed. He was very close to his angel. He smiled to himself and looked up at the ceiling. "I remember he said I was a devil and evil beyond redemption. He said that I would suffer for years and suffer as long as I live which was till eternity because I had been stupid and wished to be immortal. I feel really guilty for it now. " he sighed and closed his eyes in remembrance of his teacher. "I'm sorry." he whispered hoping it would reach where his teacher was today.

Liar says Daniel was silent. He had sinned. He was a thief and when he got a chance to reform he shunned it. He didn't really deserve to be freed of his curse. He had never really repented either. Only when he met her did he realize how wrong he had been all the time. "I'm a sinner." he heard himself say "I did wrong all the time and I shunned several chances to reform myself. I'm not really worth saving. I don't mind all the suffering this curse entitles me to. I have gotten used to the suffering. It's the pain of separation from her that makes me..." he stopped abruptly. He didn't know what to say. He had reformed himself after meeting her and even before meeting her he had saved lives as a doctor. He had never really killed or hurt anyone in his life. In spite of all the evil he had in him and all the evil he had done he was a good man at heart. He looked back at Venice and said "I have stolen and disobeyed but I have also saved many lives and helped many souls in the 500 years of my life. I don't know if you think I deserve to be saved but I think I do." He walked back to the window and looked out. "She is an angel in herself. She is no ordinary woman who warms my heart, she is an angel capable of reforming the most evil of men. She is an angel. She is my angel."

Liar says Daniel walked towards Venice's desk and looked at him "You can be sure I've tried every wizard and alchemist in existence and they have failed. I have lived for over five hundred and much of that time has gone in looking for someone who can remove my curse." he paused and looked away at the window "There are very few alchemists and wizards left Venice and even so, very few of them actually know the real art. None of them are powerful enough. I need you." Daniel gazed outside the window. The face of his angel surfaced in front of him. He jerked himself up straight and walked briskly in the direction of the window. He tried to touch the picture of the face in front of him but it faded into thin air. He lowered his face. "Have you ever loved someone, Venice?" he said suddenly "Have you ever loved someone so much that they become your life and you become ready to give it up for them? Have you ever felt the earth drift from underneath your feet and felt yourself flying when you met someone for the first time?" he lifted his head up and turned to Venice "I don't know about you, but it has happened to me. I am ready to give my life up for her. All I want is to spend some days of my life with her. I have experienced nothing but emptiness and suffering in these five hundred years. Then I met her and suddenly my life changed. I can live with this curse but not without her. I don't know if you understand what I'm telling you but I know you would have if you had only loved someone for once."

Liar says Daniel's lips twisted in a smile and soon he started to grin widely. In one swift move he pulled the sword out of the wizard's hand and moved away from him. Standing at some distance from him he held the sword horizontal to his sight and ran his fingers gently along the blade. "Neat." he commented in his clear ringing voice "I've had enough practice with these toys." He tossed it away to one side and smiled "I'm Daniel." he said "Don't worry, I'm not here to fight. I need your help." He looked around the place with a surprised look in his eyes. "I didn't expect you to be a teacher. I didn't expect half the things I'm seeing here. I guess all great wizards are teachers then. The one who taught me was perhaps the greatest I have ever met." he paused and the smile that had till now adorned his face disappeared. Guilt surfaced in his golden brown eyes and he lowered his face to the floor. With a sigh he said "Too bad I betrayed him." He slowly lifted his head up tossing his copper brown hair away from his face. He didn't really have to say it since his face had it all but he still thought it would be more courteous to say " Help me, Venice."

Liar says Daniel looked around. It was a very strange place. He had expected it to be sheer nothingness. A lonely, deserted place somewhere in the sky between heaven and hell. He had expected that it would be a vast expanse with nothing around and he would probably have to walk miles to find Venice. On the contrary he found a bubbling place almost like a small town complete with buildings and even a circus tent! He almost laughed at the presence of such a weird entity in a place like this! The limbo was not as desolate and depressing as he had imagined. Even with all the demons walking around it didn't look scary. But he knew it wasn't time to think of stuff like that. He was here for a reason. He wanted his curse removed. He wanted his Angel. He wanted his Liana. He couldn't live any longer without her and yet he knew he must. He was immortal and this was a curse bigger than the one put on him by his teacher. But for this one, he was responsible. It was he who was responsible for his curse and for his suffering. At times he reproached himself for loving her. He reproached himself for wishing to be with her and hence, even though it was never his real intention, ruining her life. But then again he loved her. He had never loved anyone before. Liana had taught him the meaning of love and the meaning of good. He had reformed for her sake. He had lived without her and without expressing his love to her for long enough and he could do it no longer. And then just as Rose said "It does not matter who you were, what matters is who you are today.". Daniel sighed and gazed at the pendant on his neck. Taking it in his hand and gazing fondly at it he said "Take me to Venice, the great wizard." He closed his eyes and felt a warm air engulf him. When he opened his eyes. He was in some sort of school room with a man with membranous red wings. "Are you Venice?" he said in a bold voice. It was his habit to get straight to the point and this moment was no exception.
