I dropped my book, bolted to her room, and flung the door open.
Th-this... this thing- I think it was human, but I'm not sure; I don't know if it was male or female- was crouched over my daughter's body. The sheets were-- they were stained dark, but I think... my girl was still breathing. I was about to rush the monster when It lifted its head, fixed its beady eyes on me, and let out the most awful, earsplitting SCREAM I've ever heard.
I was left paralyzed while the thing scooped up my daughter, leapt out the shattered window, and made off into the night.
'Depraved' barely begins to describe her.
Scream's moral compass is broken. She does what she pleases and takes what she wants whenever the mood strikes her, and 'no' doesn't appear to be registered in her dictionary. Her victims are always young women between the ages of 14 and 25, and they're always taken alive and unconscious.
Nobody knows what becomes of the girls she kidnaps.
Though it's rarely used, her true name is Vaankeila. She torments her timid younger twin, Kalil, on a near-daily basis.
Despite her disgusting personality, Scream doesn't consider herself evil. She knows it's wrong to injure and kidnap people; she just... doesn't care.
