| Drive says The cop winced at the sudden heat that blew past him. Though he didn't have any time to think about it when he noticed Max Flare in across the way from him. Anger welled up within him at the treatment that the shift car had received. Straightening his tie, Shinnosuke's eyes narrowed before he pulled out his gun and glanced over at the wooden frames with his gun at the ready, then paused when he heard a motorcycle enter into the building. Just who was - . He stopped, staring at the newcomer in utter shock and disbelief. Proto... drive? Belt-san? ProtoZero - I mean Chase? His brain was still trying to refused to comprehend what he was seeing. He had Belt-san on his waist, but he was damaged and therefore wasn't responding. Belt-san back then, which was now, was with Protodrive. So, he really was thrown into the past just before the global freeze? But how did that happen, and why? So many questions bombarded him that Shinnosuke didn't notice that Max Flare had recovered and landed on his shoulder before he was jolted out of his thoughts by the hotrod's sound effect. |
| Drive says The thud behind him caused the cop to quickly turn around. A voice issued from the thing - wait, it was a Roidmude - before he was forced to dive into cover behind some wooden frames to avoid the sound blasts. Shinnosuke cursed before glancing out, a hand going for his weapon before pausing as it rested on the Drive Driver. Wait... what did that Roidmude say? Arresting the human... Shinnosuke froze as the words sank in. The warehouses around him, no Belt-san, the missing shift cars... Was he... thrown into a strange time loop like what had happened before? Was he dead? There could be no way that he had been thrown back into the past, right? From what the Roidmude said, he had been arresting the Copycat Pirate. So this was the day of the Global Freeze!? Heavy footsteps broke him out of his thoughts, catching sight of the bat approaching the pile of wood frames. He pulled back before turning the switch on the Driver, praying that it would work. His hopes were dashed when it sputtered, but didn't activate. He was about to try again with the very familiar sound effect of Max Flare sounded off right when the small car slammed into the back of the bat Roidmude. |
| Drive says Shinnosuke opened his eyes, trying to piece together what had just happened. An explosion that had blasted him back and apparently knocked him out during an investigation. The Tokujo team had been brought back together after strange occurrences started to happened over the past few weeks and they went to investigate what was going on. Harley had contacted Krim underneath the Drive Pit and he agreed to help them out once more, allowing him to become Drive once more. Gou had, with Harley's help, found a way to bring back Chase during the last two months, so Rinna created a new Mach Driver for him to use. Apparently these occurrences involved gravity surges, which were both shocking and concerning. Just what was going on here? "Belt-san, what happened?" He asked, slowly pulling himself into a sitting position, being careful since his body was sore from that explosion. When the belt didn't respond after a few moments, Shinnosuke blinked and peered down at the faceplate. It was blank! "Belt-san! Belt-san!" His voice echoed between the empty warehouses he was near, hands grabbing and shaking the Drive driver on his waist. Wait, warehouses? The cop paused and looked around, then stared. These were the same warehouses where he had caught the Copycat Pirate the day of the Global Freeze. How did he end up here? The explosion couldn't have thrown him that far. Something wasn't right here. Confusion rippling across his face, Shinnosuke stood up and turned around in a circle, frowning. When his hand brushed up against the shift car holder, he glanced down, expecting to see Max Flare, Midnight Shadow and Funky Spike in their usual slots. Instead he saw Type Speed, Type Wild and Type Technic, which was strange. Where were the shift cars? Why weren't they with him? Did that explosion damage Belt-san and was that the reason why he didn't respond? Those questions and more pelted him as he started to carefully take a look around. Maybe he could find Gou or Chase and figure out what was going on. |
