Lappel says Kit helped him up. She inspected all the fancy antique furniture. "I dunno, some kind of royal mansion of some sort?" She sat down on the couch, but no dust rose up. "Guess someone's been here already. Wonder what they're doing right now."
Lappel says (Oops I thought I sent it, dang I have to re type everything) Kit stopped, taking in deep breaths. She heard the footsteps fade away. She climbed in. "Do you need help?" She asked, extending a hand out to him.
Lappel says Kit inspected a window. She blasted a window open. "Maybe that'll do..." She said. "Maybe not the smartest move though, I wasn't really thinking. What if someone heard that? I mean it was pretty loud. What should I do? What to do next?" She rambled on and on about what a failure she was.
Lappel says Kit appreciated the attempt to lighten the situation, but he was seriously hurt. She nodded and picked him up on her back and she jumped forward. They were quite heavy together so she could only jump from a short distance. Finally after many energetic jumps and way too many tired jumps, Kit made it to the castle. "We should try a window or something."
Lappel says Kit leapt down and threw her sword at the ice which cracked it, making the hole bigger. "Hang on!" Kit grabbed Pascqual and yanked him out and jumped onto a ledge. She set him down and retrieved her sword carefully before jumping up to the ledge. "Man, serious frostbite going on there..." She commented gravely. She took some towels and wrapped it around. "Sorry, shouldn't have left you down there."
Lappel says Kit snorted. "Oh please..." She looked behind and up the cliff. She jumped onto a ledge. "Why don't you slowly edge over while I go ahead and meet you there. Ya know there isn't stopping a fox!" Kit barked and jumped from ledge to ledge happily.
Lappel says Kit growled and stayed back. "The Song will stop soon if we don't hurry!" But she still heeded his words and watched him test the ice. She glanced up and realized what they were nearing. "Whoa...." A magnificent castle loomed overhead. "I'm guessing it's coming from there, the Song is louder now. Hurry up, will ya? I'm dying to see what's in there!" Kit's tail swished angrily, sweeping snow onto the ice.
Lappel says Kit shrugged. "The occasional snow hare runs around. You can have your food. I'll hunt." Kit ventured forward and felt something weird go through her body before passing. "Hmm, it seems like a sensoring magic spell around this place. Oh well." She continued walking, seemingly forgetting about it.
Lappel says Soon she stopped in front of a snow barren land. "Yikes, we need coats now." She reached into her sack and pulled winter clothes. "Here." She handed him a coat and warm pants. She put only a cloak on and ventured forward. She gripped her long shiny sword and listened for the Song.
Dunamis says Kit's eyes cut into his. "The Song was part of another world, only beings from that world can hear it. Evil Ancients of this land drew a soul, the last of the lasts, or so they thought, into the world. They created Sylphe, you know, the myth. But she's real. She killed and hurt many with her Song. The Song in her was quite sorrowful, it came out in the form of yellow energy." Yellow energy filled out of her hands. "She realized what she was doing and turned against her master, you know, the myth says she healed them and disappeared. I figured out I was once a dumb fox until I found a rock. I thought it was an egg and ate it. I am half Sylphe, half fox. She and I are one." Kit sighed. "There's another golem now, it sounds sad and hateful. I want to find its source and set them free. Sounds like a female though." Kit looked up, fluffy fox ears twitching.
