Misaki's Story
Misaki once had a caring and lovely family. Misaki also once had a very happy life and childhood, but one day it all changed.... when there was a great earthquake in the forest where she lived in a land far away called Lagonlia. Misaki and her older brother Janes were playing happily on a swing they had made out of a branch and some strong vines that they had found near the clear shallow waters that lay near them, and after taking turns on the swing they had gotten an appetite. They looked for some healthy fruits to share with the rest of their family. They searched the trees and bushes and the ground to see if anything good had fallen to the ground from the branches of trees they could not reach. At the end of their food hunt they had gotten a good amount of fruit and nuts to bring to their parents who must have been waiting for them by now since the sun was setting. On their way back Misaki started to get sad after looking at the stuff they had gotten for their meal because the forest was scarce in nutrients now since two legged creatures with no fur started coming into his home. Those creatures who walked with two legs started building tall shiny buildings that appeared to reach the sky and Misaki and Janes had feared that they would come to their forest and chop down the tress and build on it since they appeared to be getting closer and closer.....
Misaki shaked her head to try and get rid of those disturbing thoughts, and looked ahead to the path they were taking back to where their sleeping site was tonight. Because of the lack of food in the forest they had had to resort to traveling all around the forest to search for something to eat. At first Misaki felt angry that another species could be so careless and reckless as to leave them to starve, but Janes helped her realize that there was nothing she or any one of them could do to change that so they should try and make the best of the horrible situation.
As they neared the sleeping site and were feet away from their parents she saw them running away to the outside of the forest. With her supernatural vision she could see that with their fast speed they had made it out or where at least very near to the outside.
Janes then screamed to follow them. Misaki got confused and did as she was told by her older brother. Then after a couple of minutes of running to where her parents had gone she felt the ground shake and crack. Her brother, Janes, had always been a faster runner than her so was following him but with tree trunks and branches falling at all sides of her she lost him. She kept running forward since she knew that was the direction that would lead to the outside of her habitat. A couple of yards away she caught a glimpse of Janes on the outside, and knowing this motivated her to run faster.
A couple of minutes later she had made it, but couldn't see her family. The after looking around for hours she she realized how different her new surrounding looked to her compared to the forest. It was brighter, grassier, and drier. She then went to this pink daisy that caught her eye. The flower had just bloomed and it now stood tall in all its glory.
Misaki then decided to walk back to her home, but realized it she had gotten lost while trying to reunite with her family. She looked around once again trying to find any marks that might help her get back. She then gave up after getting even more confused as to how to return to her family, and looked down back at the pink daisy. She then froze. There were three pairs of tracks by the flower, and she followed them. Then she helplessly came to a halt when the tracks ended. She couldn't follow them anymore and that saddened her.
Without any hope she went back to the flower and on her way to it she noticed what seemed to be letters on a spot covered in dirt. It was a message! It read:
WE ARE OKAY
It was a bit hard to read since the wind had blurred the letters. They were okay she thought then she made her way back to the flower with more hope than she had felt all day since the incident that separated them.....story cut off because of new character limit:P
