The tower is located on the Island at the Edge of the World, where no other living things reside. No one knows how old it is. The only clue is its height, which rises even above the highest clouds. It is the tower of time, the things that were, are, and will be. Step out a doorway, and you find yourself centuries apart from where you were. And at the top of this tower behind the door of near future, resides the Mapmaker.
