Cody was a normal boy who loved the ocean. He lived a normal, peaceful life with his
parents and dog and was training to become a marine biologist. Now he has become
a super hero, using a magical trident given to him by a sea witch to preform heroic acts.
It all started when his parents found an old coin while scuba diving and taking it.
Cody, who had fallen asleep at the aquarium, comes home the next day to find that his
parents have been transformed into goldfish! Still able to talk, they tell Cody that a
strange creature resembling a shark visited them in their dreams and accused them of
stealing. They then awoke to find themselves in their current form.
Cody and his dog, Oogi, set off to find this thing, which ends up being pretty easy.
They discover a cave off the coast that is loaded with all sorts of jewelry, coins, and
shiny things. There they find the creature his parents spoke of, a sea witch named Alopi.
Cody pleads with her to lift the curse and explains that his parents only found the coin.
Alopi makes a deal with him. If he can preform 88 heroic acts, than she will change his parents
back to normal. She gives him her trident, which grants him the ability to control water. It can
create water by using the vapor in the air and he can also freeze water if he wants.
Unfortunately, Cody is pretty timid and weak. He tries to confront people, but ends up running
away because he is too scared to fight them and is barely capable of using his new weapon.
Feeling sorry for him, Alopi trains him so that he can become braver and stronger.
