Personality: Aku is a very gentle being whose kind heart only wishes to bring happiness and good fortune for those he encounters. Aku speaks in a gentle tone as if he's scared of startling those he comes across. He has a naturally sweet as sugar personality as well. Giving off a happy and upbeat vibe Aku is very pleasant to be around and he loves to be in the company of mortals and gods alike. Because of his rather sociable and kind nature Aku also has established a bond with the town he guards and does his best to make sure everyone is happy. Keeping everyone content is really the only thing that Aku wishes for. Aku also is a very understand soul as well who is very good at giving advice to others to help see them well on their way. The relaxing vibe he gives off also is quite reassuring to those that find themselves in his presence. All in all, Aku's polite manners and caring nature make him quite popular with mortals and gods alike, being great around crowds, however, company has never minded the god. On a different note Aku is also fairly mellow and maintains a go with the flow attitude despite the worry he has for the people he cares about. For those that he truly loves Aku is an extremely loyal being who can be extremely protective. On that note, Aku also operate well under pressure and is able to think clearly and react- however, he doesn't find himself in these situations very often because he can be quite cautious.
Likes: Aku absolutely adores calm and serene places. He loves being surrounded by the mountains and forests and often when he's feeling stressed he can be found somewhere within the forest's depths gathering his own thoughts. Aku also is an avid animal lover, large or small there's really no creature that evades his affections. He is particularly fond of rabbits and deer. Being sociable Aku adores people and enjoys their company even more. He simply loves being able to listen to their stories or have a nice chat with them. On a different note Aku absolutely enjoys cool weather which is why Autumn and Spring are his favorite times of the year. Being someone who appreciates color Aku loves to sit and marvel at the blooming flowers or the leaves changing color. All in all Aku just really appreciates nature and all it has to offer. On a different note Aku absolutely adores sweets and loves chocolate the most. Aku also enjoys the company of silence and doesn't mind being by himself. Dislikes: Aku cannot stand self righteous and judgmental people and though it is hard to make him angry these people tend to strike a few nerves with the god. Aku also can't stand people who cause unnecessary suffering to others or those who exploit others for their own benefit. Liars are also people that Aku doesn't keep in his company and he believes that if you can't tell him the truth to his face then you are not worth his time nor his kindness. Speaking of his kindness, Aku dislikes it when he is taking advantage of and hates to be taken for granted. He may wear his heart on his sleeve but he refuses to be walked upon like a door mat. Aku is currently trapped in a prayer temple near the town he guards. He was trapped when his town got attacked by a kitsune named Nikolai and he was sealed away. His town is now currently over run with lesser demons much to the god's dismay.
The longer Aku stays in the prayer temple and not his actual one means that his strength is slowly being sapped away from him year by year. He's in a much weaker state than he ever was because of his entrapment.
